My heart goes out to all those affected by this event. I was farming in Northern Manawatu during the Feb 2004 storm so know what it is like.
It is interesting how the forested areas have held up in this highly erodible hill country.
You can see changes in colour with the trees where some of them have slipped but generally, covered land appears to have stood up well. Some of those faces are pretty steep. I hope you recovered from your damage. Hopefully our farmers haven’t been overlooked by the general public in light of Royal Weddings, Osama and now tornadoes in Auckland.
To inset a video in you post: look for Upload/Insert , the first icon is for photos, the second for vidoes.
Click that, then click from URL, copy and paste the address, click on insert into post and it whould be there (you see the address not the video on your add-post page but if you click preview you’ll be able to see if the video will show on your post).
If this doesn’t work ask one of your children – they’re sure to be able to help 🙂
