My daughter might have scarlet fever.

After temperatures and sore throats and now the rash etc, she might have what used to be a very serious disease. Without treatment it could turn into something worse with long term consequences. If I was on a seriously tight budget, which would go first – food, Christmas presents or doctor’s fees? Obviously, doctor’s fees but that’s not fair. Imagine having to make that choice.

Politicians need to spend more money on health.   A lot more.
